My Dream, My Future

                Do you pay attention in how fast time goes by? Before we realize, time has passed by and all the dreams we had for our future have not yet come true. The reason is because our dreams are just dreams and haven’t yet become goals. Life is no Nintendo or a Pokémon game. You live only once. Therefore, we must fulfill those precious one we called Dream during the rest of our short Life. 

                        

            Just dreaming isn’t enough we must strive hard and let’s level up dreaming, we must put it to a whole new level, as our goals in life. And here we are months from graduating some says this is the end but for me this is only the beginning. Books have happy or tradegic endings and now I’ve realized that our life is not like a book’s ending because in books there’s an end to its stories but in life there are endless and infinite stories we can make. Stories or experiences that will make us stronger and better. Our story for being a High School will end eventually end but another chapter of our life will start sooner or later. The life of being a College Student where studying will be serious because this will decide if we really can accomplish our goals in life. My goal? I want to be an accountant working in a private company or in a bank. I want to accomplish it with my perseverance and determination.

                                

            My Dream is My Goal, and My Goal is my Future. Don’t stop dreaming just strive hard. Dream, Believe and Survive. Because someday or somehow we will reach and achieve our goals in life.

Change: It Starts with Me

                           

          Why do we change? What is change? Change is a transformation or modification of things or people; sometimes we change for the better and best or bad and for worst. Sometimes we change to be better, to change our bad attitudes we don’t like or we want to prove to someone that we can change and be better than our old selves. Sometimes we change to be worst or bad because of our previous experiences that hurt us.

            Change starts with me and also it can end to me. Everyday I’ve experience things that forced me to change, specially my previous experiences. I’ve change to be better to prove to someone that I can change for her. But it isn’t easy to change because resist to change. At first I didn’t change and forget a game named DOTA. I wasted the chance she gave to me but now I’m willing to change for her. I’ll forget all the vices I have playing computer games.

            Well change starts with me but are you also willing to change? Let us all changes, let’s change for the future and be the best we can be.

                

KANNAWIDAN FESTIVAL

        

Ilocos Sur has a rich heritage and unique culture that are to be preserved for the next generations because it is observed that many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano culture are not familiar to the younger generations already. Children of today are paying more attention to the modern and novelty dances they seen on the television than the traditional ones. There is also a need to evaluate the different products of the different municipalities and the agricultural products and livestock of the farmers and fisher folks. Because of this, the provincial government of Ilocos Sur conceived a festival that will highlight these culture and traditions and attract local and foreign tourists as well. They call it the KANNAWIDAN Ylocos Festival; it is also a time to commemorate the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province since it was separated on February 3, 1818.

This Festival aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province’s rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agricultural and industry products.

                  For the community, Kannawidan is the best place to enjoy nature’s gifts; it is the best place to create a coalescing community. Kannawidan is a place for showcasing talents, brains, beauties, and the creative hospitality that we, Filipinos, especially we Ilocano’s have. For the people, Kannawidan is one way for them to experience, know, learn, and love the different cuisines, cultures, traditions, and exhibits of their own province, of their own place. This festivity has a great impact to the people for it shows how their province lived and lives. The activity creates a magnificent influence that pulls people together in one area of the province and makes an amalgamating once in a year experience as traders all over the province and all over the Philippines showcase their wide array of reasonably priced products.

                For traders, Kannawidan is a place, an activity and a way of how their living worked and works. Kannawidan is a place for showcasing products like furniture, crafts, cuisines, the province’s OTOP, and products coming from external towns and/or provinces. Kannawidan is an activity that unites dealers/merchants to one place and creates a market of beauty, food, and creativity.

New Year, New Me???

New Years is a time when many people around the world make promises to themselves, a new look or instead they wanted to a start a new life where they can change what they don't like in what or who they are last year. However, many of the promises made by people are rarely completed.

Everybody wants to change for them to be better this year. They want to change their bad attitude from negative to positive. They want to be better but every year this is all what happen they want to change but this become there agenda every year.

And for me I don't want to change, I don't want to change my attitude because this is who i really am. I don't also want to change my hairstyle because i like it the way it is and for me it suits me well.
